Sales Support Specialist

the travel industry, is looking for a few people who fit all of the above to join our growing Operations team as Sales Support Specialists.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:
• Resolve issues for direct customers and outside agencies both during and after travel
• Accurately manage all hotel inventory stop sales and reporting
• Manage changes to itineraries
• Work with suppliers to confirm rooms above allotment and special requests
• Responsible for issuing tickets; including exchanges, refunds and schedule changes
• Research alternative accommodations impacted by schedule changes and passenger requests
• Enter reservation and product data into our in-house contract and pricing systems.
• Process all inquiries and provide troubleshooting with regards to inventory for internal call center and customer service
• Accounting experience preferred, including invoicing, deposits, international wire receipts and chargeback disputes
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Focus on accuracy and quality
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office

Education and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Prior travel industry experience helpful but not preferred.
